Introduction

Up to August 18, 2002 I was an Assistant Professor at the Operating Systems Group of the Computer Science Department (Informatik) at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Since August 19, 2002 I am Associate Professor for Distributed Systems at the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Ulm.
