Navigational Hints

Our server provides a header and footer section on each Web page. They contain some links that allow easy navigation.

In the header you can find the following icons:

The IMMD Logo is linked to the Home Page of the IMMD.

The IMMD IV Logo is linked to the Home Page of the IMMD IV.

The questionmark leads to our help page.

There also can be some arrows. Blue arrows represent links whereas gray arrows do not. The information at our server is organized in a hierarchical structure. The arrows allow you to follow this structure.

If you strictly follow the arrows you can view all pages of a certain subtree in a depth first order. To do so you have to apply the following rules in the given order:

• If there is an icon then select it.
• If there is an icon then select it.
• Otherwise select the icon

• If none of the rules above apply then please go back to the previous page using the Back button of your browser.

To the right of the icons mentioned so far you may find a link to the person maintaining the page and the date of the last modification.

At the right side of the header section you may find icons to select different languages:

If you click on this icon you get the same page in German language.

If you click on this icon you get the same page in English language.

If there is none of these icons available then we regret that the corresponding Web page is only available in one of the supported languages.

In the footer section you find self-explaining links to get information about the server or this navigational hints. You can also send mail to our Webmaster or enter the University search engine to search all servers of the University Erlangen-Nürnberg.
